Rows in Light Blue are the ideal "Sweet Spot" Resolution for great looking prints
This chart is based on printing ONE shirt at a time on a T-Jet3.
Use of non-critical images that do NOT need high opacity white or bright colors (many ofthe new retail type images) can be up to TWO times as fast to print at lower print resolutions!
* For brighter prints with a heavier ink depost and better washability, print at higher of 1440, OR print the 720x720 resolution twice. Use this column for either.
**Does not include time to prep or rip the file. Simple files print immediately. Large files may take one to three minutes to rip. Ripped files can be saved and reprinted immediately.
*** Pretreatment on light shirts is diluted by 50%. This is figured into the usage number
**** Includes 15 seconds for unloading and reloading a shirt and putting machine in the Load/Ready position on a T-Jet3.
PPH = Prints per Hour
HL = Highlight White
CMYK = Four Colors
ML = Milliliter
Assumptions:
CMYK ink - 1 mL = 1 gram
White ink - 0.80mL = 1 gram
Printing is in bi-directional mode high speed
Pretreatment takes approximately 7 mL for a 12 x 12 and 50% of that for a light shirt
White ink usage for underbase is figured on 35% "solid" coverage for a given image size. If image has a lot of white coverage or bold white type, the coverage will increase.
